Do they make these that are clear but light up amber? I'd like to get a set and spray them with NiteShades as SCREW-ME-05 said on page 1.. That's a good idea!

Thanks Brad and Blackout FX4. I just ordered the set from ebay, I already missed 2 days this week b/c of the snow so I went with the cheaper ones. Maybe she won't kill me sooo much, lmao! And to DarkShadow STX I also picked up on that, good one! Thats my kind of installation

I installed the chrome ones this weekend and noticed they are not nearly as bright as OEM, which is understandable since the front of the bulb is blocked. I am wondering about the LED ones....has anyone installed these and do they need some kind of resistance modification or is the bulb already designed with proper resistance? Some sites I've looked at say they require a resistor or replace the flasher unit to prevent the "hyperflash". Several sites don't mention it, but then I read in reviews that people are having to add a resistor.

Guys, DO NOT order those. They are cheap, chinese LEDs that only fire forward. You will lose all illumination of your turn signals. If you want proper LEDs that give off the same luminous flux as your OEM incandescents, get radial LEDs that have side-firing (to hit the reflectors)

These are only $19 and will shine brighter due to the SMT LEDs and last longer.

Get ones that are clear and have a blue hue to them as posted on the first page. They are bright just like OEM. They are Sylvania Silverstar bulbs, not Chinese knock-offs.

I have all LED in my truck. inside and outside in all places except headlights, puddle lamps, and vanity mirror in truck. all others are LED. even fogs.

if you go all led. and at least the parking lights are not on. you will have about 1.5 v feedback from the parking/turn ckt on the LED bulb itself. you will need to install diodes in at least all four rear sockets. i actually installed on both parking and turn so there is no feedback to SJB- smart junction box. they are very picky.

hyperflash- mine flash a bit faster, but there is a definate on-off-on. and im fine with it. never been told otherwise by cops either.

you can install resistor kit. 6ohm for 2 bulbs 3ohm for all bulbs. being led.

careful where you mount them . they will get hot hot hot.

everyone have a great week.

Too late They've been in my truck for almost 2 months, and I do have the "hyperflash". Will that do any damage? I can just re-install the stock bulbs until I get the right ones if so. They seem to light up pretty well as far as I can tell, and I installed them at night in my garage and tested them in the dark. Thanks in advance!
