I don't know about the U.S., but in Canada, the employee discount/0%/delivery allowance happens in July-August. Part of the reason for this is because the dealerships want to move the models on their lots for the new batch of vehicles.

They may be even later than that if they are going to shut the factorys for 15 weeks.

judging by current sales I'd say that it will be more. GM just started 4,000 on their 1500 CC and Ex Cab trucks. I'd bet Ford will follow. I just wish they would price the trucks right from the factory and stop these "discounts".

Given that I bought a truck in March, the incentives/discounts/rebates should increase.

The thing is Ford dont want to make them look like they are doing that bad that they have to match what ever GM, Chevy and Dodge are doing. If they follow them and make less money on the trucks then no one will have faith in that brand. I know i wouldnt want the price of my truck crashing because these companys want to do massice incentives to shift trucks. I would rather pay a little more and have the better quality truck from a company that should hopefully be about in the future. You couldnt get me in a Dodge or GM at 50% of MSRP

Exclamation

PLEASE keep us posted (anyone) if you hear what the April incentives are going to be. My truck should most likely be arriving tomorrow, but I am at work until 5pm at a minimum due to manager conference calls, so most likely I won't be able to pick it up until early afternoon on Tuesday (which is the last day of March). I'd like to know NOW if I can get any more off before I sign on the bottom line. Thanks in advance!

It's almost Tuesday, couple more hours. Here's hoping some April incentives leak out seeing as it's the last day of the month.

Rumor has it that there will be 0% financing offers along with a buyer protection guarantee that if you lose your job Ford will cover your monthly note for X months.

Now that GM can no longer make trucks what do you think will happen with Ford? I drove through a lot yesterday and the prices were pretty good.
