congrats on ur first pickup!

i ordered my first truck back in 1999. so i went from my 97 geo metro (no, i'm not kidding) to my 2000 f150 4x4 reg cab. the first time i drove her, i remember thinking that i was going to drive over everyone if i wasn't careful, lol. it didn't help that i could've fit my metro in the bed of the truck.

very nice ride!

Thanks for the compliments guys.

I paid $37,000 CDN plus taxes. This was back in December 08. The sticker price was $43,650.

How do you like the length of the truck for city driving? I am torn between a 5.5 and 6.5 bed...

I don't do a whole lot of city driving, but it's not too bad. I normally park away from the crowds anyways, but you wouldn't have that much of a problem over a 5.5.

I snowmobile a lot so it's convenient throwing it in the bed, and that extra foot makes a world of difference.

I think the 5.5's look better, but I'm happy with my choice

I keep looking for how disproportionate the 5.5 bed is to the Screw, as most people state that, but in mine, I think the 5.5 is the perfect size. I got the bed extender so if I want to throw an ATV in the back, it poses no problem....

I think it looks great with the 5.5 bed, in fact the 6.5 makes it look rather long, although it still looks nice.
