Thoughtful touches missing on the F150
This aren't deal breakers but I thought these 'touches' would have been nice if Ford provided the following on the trucks:
-window command to open/close the windows (and sunroof if equipped) by either pressing and holding unlock/lock button on remote or inserting key into driver's door keyhole and keeping it in unlock/lock position. As the window travels, releasing the hold on the button or key would stop movement (allowing the windows to remain partially opened/closed).
-a trim piece along the back edge of the hoodliner. Or tuck the headliner cloth up and over the back edge for a finished look. Currently, it looks like it was cut with a dull knife.
-the lock on the tailgate also controlled by remote control
-tire pressure readout option on all tires displayed on the message center
Any other touches you wish Ford had on the F150?

Needs a better rain channel (or whatever it's called) along the edge of the roof so water doesn't run down the side windows. The channel is much smaller or nonexistent vs. the 04-08 trucks. anyone else notice this? If the truck gets rained on, and water pools on the roof, when you go to drive away, I noticed the water runs down both front door windows. Luckily, it's been cold out and my windows were up at the time. But I can see someone putting their windows down in the summer after the truck gets rained on, and then all the water will runoff and come in through the front windows as you drive off!

2 USB ports in the center console and 1 next to the 12V power port.
Lid or cover on the storage area under the second row seat
User adjustable electronic load leveling for standard driving, Tow/Haul, and 3 inch off road lift.
Lockable storage under the bed rail caps.
12V power port in the bed.
Paint all the suspension parts.
Pop out, removable solid rear window that can store behind the rear seats.

I'd like the 4wd dial and the light dial to light up (that inner part that turns with the syymols on them) to actually light up at night when lights are on same as the HVAC controls. Why the light switch doesn't seems downright stupid. Now I think I looked at this in the 09 I test drove, so if this has changed on the 09s then my bad I stand corrected.

*Captain's Chairs armrests (like 1997 F-150 Lariat)
*USB in lockable center console (Was this not obvious to designers? Why did you make it lockable? Hello???)
*Upfitter Switch option (always hot)
*heated steering wheel
*remote started heated seats & steering wheel
I love my NAV and Sync, but I think my favorite thing (other than seeing my grille reflected back at me while driving) that makes me smile the most is the power running boards. Those things are the $h!t.

At least Ford seems to be consistently off on some things.
On my truck the bumper has a smaller space on driver side vs pasenger side.
Passenger side headlight has wider gap between light and grill than on driver side.
Tailgate cables- ( also checked this against five trucks at dealer), the passenger side cable has more play in it when down. It is NOT holding any weight at all. When I stand on it it gets a little tight. Driver side is very tight with weight on it. Dealer stated all are like that, it's no issue. Yeah maybe.
Until left cable breaks and slams that expensive tailgate and camera on bumper.

Having an actuator in the tailgate for the lock would be nice. I'm planning on installing one myself.

I wish they would have come with a sofa, love seat...ooo and a toilet. Then it'd be perfect. j/k :P
I think more interior lighting would be nice...and better floor mats. One thing that does drive me nuts is the orange color on the shift lights. The P RND...etc is orange. In my old vehicle, orange was bad.
Seriously though...a toilet would have been awesome.
