I drove home a new black FX4 crew cab tonight.

This is my first new vehicle. Traded in my 2004 Lariat supercab. The cam phaser noise was really starting to bother me.

Had a dealer 20 minutes north of me that didn't put forth much of an effort to sell me a truck so I took my business to another dealer. The initial offer from this dealer was $7900 off of MSRP. Walked out the door with about 20% off MSRP and they are going to pay for me to have LineX put in.

I had just put new tires (Dueler Revos) on my 2004 back in December. I was going to ask if I could swap those tires to the new truck. I wonder if they would do that?

Glad to have a new Ford. I test drove a new Dodge but I am glad I didn't buy it.

I have a question - are those step bars the chrome 5" oval, or are they something else.

I want step bars on my new '09, but not sure the chrome would look good on a white FX4 that has no chrome at all.

Yes...they are the chrome 5" step bars. They were already on the truck when I bought it.

Here is the only pic I have of the interior. I took the picture in the garage so it isn't very good.
