F150 Lariat 4X4 Tires

Hey about to order a f150 lariat 4X4 with the chrome package and 18 inche wheels and I am trying to figure out what the standard tires are and also what the optional ones for 250 are. Thanks for the help. One last thing the invoice that the dealer is telling me and what I see on Edmunds.com seems to be off about 300 bucks the MSRP is the same though is that normal?

the standard tires are probably BFG Rugged Trails or regular Goodyear Wrangler tires. The optional ones are LT-rated Goodyear Wrangler AT/S tires.

The difference in invoice price is probably the Ford marketing fee. It has some acronym... like NADMF, North America Dealer Marketing Fee (or something like that, I can't remember what it is exactly). It doesn't show up on Edmund's invoice pricing, at least not when I bought mine in Jan.

Not sure about now but for a while the standard tire was the Pirelli Scorpions.

I have Goodyear Wranglers on my truck right now. Considering a pair of BFG ATA's, I've had BFG's on all my other cars, very good tires.

If you do not plan to replace the OEM tires, get the $250 upgraded ones if they are the AT/S. They are a decent tire, load C/Dm much better than the Wrangler RT/S and BFG Rugged Terrains.

BFG AT -> overrated.
