omfg... if you know how to do this mod on a 04-08 or 09+ f150, please post the information. And yes... I agree with people's frustrations with other people having this mod and blinding oncoming traffic, THOSE people are a-holes but not all of us are. "Responsible" drivers (like me) WILL NOT run these lights on the road to **** other drivers off (unless you rudely cut me off, THEN you deserve it!!!). It WOULD be nice to have them when we're OFF road or there isn't anyone else ON the road. MmmmmK? So, having said that, if ANYONE knows how to do this "Bambi" mod, please share the info so we can light up the darkness when we choose to do so. Otherwise, keep your opinions to yourself and/or only post usefull information to the original question! Thank you! Nuf said...

WHEW!
ok. i plan on doing this. i will draw up something for those that want it. and because you should not have high beams on when meeting people. does not matter if fogs are on when high beams are on. ? at least in my way of thinking. hopefully everyone just keeps their opinions in their head.

ok. for my install. with LED fogs.
factory feeder from fog light CKT. will have a 5AMP 1000PIV diode installed on positive side on each fog light. white band facing fog lamp/socket.

on the fog lamp side of the diode. that will tie into the normally open side of a relay. 12v 20 amp. with a feeder directly from the + side of the battery used for power when high beams are on. the coil or trigger wire will come from the High beam on the drivers side of the headlamp assy.

when the high beams are on. the fogs will also be on. power fed directly from battery.. when they are off. you can also shut off the fogs by using factory switch in truck.

PM me if you have any questions. should be fairly simple. everything will be fused as well. i plan on taking amp readings, for real world amp draw for fogs.

I have LED fogs so the current draw should be less than normal bulbs. or different replacement filliment bulbs.

everyone have a good week.

fugg me.... that was a lot of pissin.

How about you take a wire and splice the (+) wire from your fogs to the high beam (+) wire from the headlights?

Fogs work as normal with lows, and then when the highbeams are on, they energize the fogs at the same time.

Ak, if you did that the positive feed from the high beam would backfeed the low beam current and you would have high beam, fogs, and low beam feeding from just the low beam circuit.
