Tinted front windows on Oxford White
Just thought I would post up a pic how my white truck looks with 35% tint on the front windows.
I've had 35% on my previous truck, and think it is just right for me - gives a great look, plus you can still see well at night.
Plus, this is what is just about legal in Penna.

Therefore, if PA only allows 70%, then you would need a 70% tint, because a 35% would be only allowing half of the required light through.

Well, you are right I think -
There are pages and pages of discussion on this for Penna - none of it is really conclusive, except for this fact:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
No person shall drive any motor vehicle with any sun screening device or other material which does not permit a person to see or view the inside of the vehicle through the windshield, side wing or side window of the vehicle.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Another page states this:
-----------------------------------
Front Side Windows Must allow more than 70% of light in.
-----------------------------------
So you are right since the lower the tint % of the films, the less light transmission.

Yep your right that means 70% window tint and that's just about a factory tint, well maybe a little more, I believe the rear window factory tint is about 30% and the front factory tint is somewhere around 85% but I haven't measured it yet.
I wish I could tint my windows in my new truck but I don't need the cops pulling me over to write me anymore tint violation tickets. I've had my share of them with my 07 Mustang GT. It gets old having to pay $50 every time you get pulled over

I like my Louisiana Law:
Windshield Non-reflective tint is allowed along the top of the windshield above the manufacturer's AS-1 line.
Front Side Windows Must allow more than 40% of light in.
Back Side Windows Must allow more than 25% of light in.
Rear Window Must allow more than 12% of light in.
Fairly dark if you ask me.

yeah, PA laws on tint really stink, it does mean like only 70% tint is allowed. here is a website I used to read about PA tint laws: http://www.berksweb.com/users/dmv/tint/
anyways, looks good, I also been going with 35% on my trucks too. A guy I work with just got busted for 20% on his front windows.
