Talked to the parts dept at my dealership and was told I could order the black pieces and the cost would be $11 for the driver side and $15 for the passenger side. I don't know why ford wants more for the passenger side but I guess for $25 you get rid of the ugly orange and it's a lot less trouble than pulling the reflectors and trying to smoke them without breaking anything.

They are still calling them lens,

9L3Z17E748AA
9L3Z17E749AA

Less than $5.00 each.

I'll order a set in, they are cheap enough. They should be here in the morning and I'll post an update (as long as my wife doesn't go into labor)

yes, I realize that dude. I was asking if there were any part numbers for the plain black inserts since you were also able to get the part numbers for the orange reflectors.

I see you used Domenic @Tasca and now he was nice enough to post on here and tell us the part numbers for the plain black ones.

Sorry, I read your post too quickly and misread it.

no problem. I'm now tempted to get the plain black STX ones because at least they will match the same color/texture of the rest of black portion of the mirror, rather than painting the orange ones.

Less than five dollars each, either my dealer got the wrong part number or they are trying to screw me. Also I sure hope your wife doesn"t know you go around calling her "wide."

Part numbers are good.

Left: 9L3Z17E749AA
Right: 9L3Z17E748AA

Black textured to replace the yellow reflector.

The shipping is more than the combined price of the two parts?

We can use USPS priority mail, cost you about $6.00 ... I can make the adjustment to the price when I process the credit card.
