SuperCab vs SuperCrew

SuperCab vs SuperCrew
What are y'alls thoughts on why you like the SuperCab or the SuperCrew. I am thinking about upgrading from my '94 SuperCab. I like the bigger interior of the SuperCrew, which I won't use often, but I think the larger bed will be used more. This will be my truck to drive to work and around town.

I am looking at the 5.5' bed SuperCrew vs the 6.5' bed SuperCab.

Depends on what you like best. Personally, I love 4 real sized doors on a truck - I use it like an SUV with a pickup box on the end (for the occasional use) rather than a true truck. Last night I saw a '09 XLT scab 4x4, grey paint, levelled and it looked beautiful. So it depends on your needs, and price comfort. If you don't see yourself using the screw's interior, why pay more for it? Get the scab.

I went from a 97 Scab to my current 02 Screw, and love it. I'm 6'5" and have plenty of room in the back.

I just picked my 09 f150 super crew up yesterday and wow lots of room. I had been leaning towards super cab but changed my mind at the last minute and i am glad i did. Don't really have people ride with me much but i do haul stuff in the cab and the extra room will be nice. 5.5' bed and i do have an atv i haul around but it came with bed extender. I would go for the super crew you will not regret it.

I went with the SuperCrew knowing I wouldn't use it all the time but for the occasional group ride along it has come in handy. I have a friend who bought the SuperCab and not 2 months later he's wishing he would have got the SuperCrew.

We test drove a screw. It was a significant amount more expensive, wouldn't have fit in our garage with the 6.5' bed, and the extra space wouldn't have meant much to my 7 year old. As it was she was gaining space over our previous truck (crew cab Colorado) and she wouldn't have even come close to being able to reach the 12v jack and cupholder in the center console. The only drawback is that she can't get in and out herself--she has to wait for one of us to open a door. For occasional adult riders there's plenty of room. I love the extra bed length over the 5.5' bed in my Colorado.

I went with the 6.5 bed Screw. My last two trucks were extended cabs. I also only got the XL but it is nice enough for my needs and was cheaper... plus it was a leftover 08 that was on the lot for a year and a half so with the discounts I did not even look at 09s... the discount was just to good on the 08 and I was only going to pay all cash.
