how do i post images to my new posts?

can someone tell me how to post pics of my new truck? i read the FAQ page and it says that i should have a manage pics under the text box. however, i dont see one. i am looking as we speak and the closest thing i see is the insert image icon. however, when i hit that button, it only asks me to post the url. i want to post a pic that is on my computer that i took with my camera. i just saw under posting rules, that i cannot post attachments. why is that and can that be fixed?

Click on User CP in the upper left corner. Go to Pictures and Albums on the menu on the left. You will need to upload your pics there. You then copy the url and insert it into your post.

You just click on the insert image button up top. Paste your link in the box. (Make sure scripted windows are enabled in your browser or the box won't pop up) It will basically surround the link you provided with (IMG)httpblahblahhere(/IMG) except with brackets instead of parentheses.

1. Upload your images to your album.
2. Click on an image from your album and there will be two boxes below the image. Click on the box labelled BB Code, right-click with your mouse and select Copy.
3. Go to your message that you want it inserted in and right-click with your mouse and select Paste
4. If you are linking to any other picture, here is the easiest way:
- If you are using Internet Explorer, right-click and select properties, highlight the entire address with your mouse, right-click and select copy.
- If you are using Firefox, right-click and select Copy Image Location, right-click and select copy.
- Go to your message and click on this icon When the little dialog box pops up you then paste that address into the box. It will automatically add the img tags to your image.

Almost. Copy the link BB Code link with the [IMG] sign in it, just below the one you used.

Great looking truck! Congrats on the new ride. I know there is a variety of opinions on the FX4 sticker, but it really stands out nicely on white trucks.

posting pics

thanks to everyone that has chimed in on posting pics. im not the most computer literate guy but it seems it shouldn't be that complex just to post a pic. hopefully, next time i post a pic, i can do it without screwing it up. prolly take a few more times before i get it. lol... in regards to this truck, i love it. i had a 2005 nissan titan that i bought new and tricked it out. i got rear-ended and was totaled. got a check from my insurance co. and i bought my truck about a week later. i drove the ford last but liked it the most. i really like the fit and finish of this truck. im impressed with the inside of this truck. i opted for the dark leather with carbon finish. there is a ton of room in the backseat. this truck is as quiet as my wifes mercedes. all in all, i am sold on this ford truck. time will only tell if i continue to love this truck. ford has surely stepped up their game.
