after seeing the order guide I'm wating for 2010!

After seeing the order guide for the 2010 F-150 Im gonna wait for the 10 MY.

Now I CAN get a monotone dark blue pearl Lariat w/ just what I want on it!

Here is what I want:

2010 F-150 Lariat supercrew 145WB 4x4
Dark blue pearl metallic paint
tan interior,Capt chairs w/ flow thru console and floor shifter
Pending on the grille w/ the chrome package I might get that as well.
skid plates{I know that the fx4 has them standard but I hate the monochromatic painted bumpers}
spray in bedliner

The lariat has everything that I want on it except the electronic rear diff but I can always get an ARB locker and call it a day

What do you all think?

Geff Like you I'll be using the BDS lift w/ 315/70/17 BFG all-terrains {mounted white letter I like letters old school looks lol} **** Cepek Dc-1 17x9 wheels {maybe a 17x10 if they dont rub at full lock} chrome 4" stainless side steps, if go rhino has the extreme sport bar ready for the 09/10 that will be going on as well in stainless. maybe a bull bar or a warn grille guard still torn on which one! custom stereo exhaust I'm gonna call it "project old school"
ya know when trucks had roll bars in the bed w/ lights kinda the "Fall Guy" truck look!

Another Thing I like about the 10's is that you can get the sliding rear window WITH defrost..not one or another!

Unless you plan on replacing the sound system, get the Sony. For my ears, it's great.

That is another reason why I'm wating for the 10MY plus on the Lariat its STANDARD EQUIPMENT not a extra cost option!

The sony system is a big improvement over what you could get in past F150's but if you are really looking for quality sound the sony just just won't cut it. Aftermarket is the way to go if you are willing to spend the time and money.

It really depends on what you're listening to. I play all my music from a USB flash drive (that's really all I listen to). When it's on shuffle, the sound quality is all over the board. Sometime I hit "max volume" just because of the quality of that recording. On newer stuff with good production quality, it's awesome.

The other thing for me is that I came from a regular cab truck. The Alpine in that truck is louder than the Sony in my 09, but there's a lot more room to fill up with sound in the Screw.

That being said, I'm very happy with the Sony system. DO NOT go with the stock system. You would be very disappointed with it.

No more two-tone colors on FX4.. that's too bad... was hoping for a Black with Grey lower two-tone like my current 05. This plus no optional Black side-steps, only chrome or stainless steel I think. But this wasn't offered on the 09's either...

Looks like I'll keep the 05 for another year or two, especially since it'll be paid off real soon...

Exactly, WTF Ford?! FX4 is a monochrome truck (other than new for 09 fulgy tailight surround) and you don't offer black steps from factory. Why can't the guy that made THAT decision get the pink slip vs some of the line guys...

Can't get BFG all terrains in 315/70r17 with raised white lettering, only come with black sidewalls
