I traded off my 99 for a 2009 just so I could get a shot at the TOTM. JK. But I am lookin forward to getting it. One more month to go but I should have most of my accessories by the time it gets here.

BTW, I don't have a problem with the thread about the truck. The pic he posted was the one on the TOTM. And we see it all the time in his sig. I feel he was just making it aware to some members that didn't know anything about the TOTM. He said to vote in the TOTM and even though its in the 09 section that still doesn't mean you have to vote for his.

 

Amen to that Blackout! I'm hoping for a nice set of OEM 20s that a new owner replaced or a nice aluminum aftermarket. I;m not sure I want chrome wheels which is why I didn't go for the chrome package. I put the stainless bars on myself, $175 from Ebay.

I need to educate myself on aftermarket rims, don't yet know what's good and what not. But yes, it's SCREAMING! Lol.

And btw, absolutely LOVE your truck!

Congratulations! I'm not picking on your or anything and I'm not saying your a bad person and I hate you but I would have went about things a little different. Is TOTM a joke? NO. I wish some people would stop saying that. I want everyone to remember that this just started a few months ago and it takes a thread like this for us to iron out the kinks. I know what I posted above and I do feel like this thread was a desperate measure and I wouldn't have done it but at the same time there are no rules against it and you won I'm going to leave it as that

Exactly. It got off to a great start and created a lot of interest. We will revise it as we progress, and hopefully we can continue to have fun with it.

 

So I guess this means I should close the campaign headquarters I just set up for my run at the January 2010 TOTM? I wonder if I have to return campaign contributions or can I just use them for new mods?

You will never please 100% of the people 100% of the time. If that does happen, I think it screws up something with the space/time continuum.

Yeah, you're probably correct. Kind of silly wasn't it. No one complained when a Bronco was in there. It is titled TRUCK of the Month, not F150 of the Month.
