Power Steps for 2009

Need a little help with routing. Driver side has main conduit that runs on the outside of the frame that would be easy to tie strap the Power Step conduit to, but the passenger side it bare. Any suggestions?

I used large zip ties to hold the conduit directly to the frame. I can get pics if you need them.

Duct tape the sucker. It you really want to be fancy, use black duct tape.

Honest answer is to crawl under the truck, find a route for the conduit and like the other post mentioned, use zip ties where you can.

You say that like I am a sissy and dont want to crawl under my truck. I have been under it that is how I know there is a 1" gap b/w the fenderwell and the firewall. Like I said I thought about running it down the inner seal over the top of the front idler arm and zip tieing it to the extra holes not used by the arms.

But I think the better route is to use big zip ties and use the fram on the passenger and use the ties that came with the steps on the drive and attach that side to the factory conduit run.

And yes pictures are always better. So if you can post them please do.

I'm going to the beach early tomorrow for the 4th... I'll post pics when I get back if you still need them.

Nope I am good... Decided to run in down the underside of the cab instead of the frame.

Only issue I have now is the passenger side closes up against the bottom of the cab and the driver side has about 1/4"-1/2" gap b/w the step and the cab. Tried my "fine adjusting tool" but couldnt get either side to adjust much. I think it is just the sheet metal difference b/w the two sides. Nothing a little rubber matte won't fix.

Does your steps sit closer to the bottom of the cab in the rear than they do in the front. I have been able to get both the read closed gap down to less than a 1/4" but the front gaps are still close to 1/2". I thought the front idler would find its level with the rear but that doesn't seem the case, unless the rocker panel isnt level from front to back.
