Who Regrets Lifting?

I am going to lift 6" on 35's, my Jeep buddy keeps telling me I will regret it.. I have lifted other trucks before and never really regretted it. But this will be my first lift on a new truck... Any advice or warning from those of you that are further down the road from me?

You just have to think that your truck is at its best STOCK.

So when you lift you change you suspension geometry, gas milage, load on wheel bearings(because of the bigger tires).

To some, this is a pain in the Arss, but others like me, is just something to deal with

I lifted my 04 Lariat with just spacers and loved it and I understand all the changes that will take place, but I just wondering if anyone who has done it, and uses it for a daily drivers wishes they had just left it stock.

The next can of worms I am going to open is warranty...

As long as you know going in how it will alter your truck, in other ways than looks, and you are fine with it, then by all means, go for it. I plan to add a 6” suspension lift to my truck once I can afford the cost. My last truck, a 2001, had a 6” lift and I drove it for 8 years with no problem. I don’t know if you’re only looking for those who had regrets, but I had none. Just my 2c

I got a 6" procomp lift bumped up to 8" with coilovers cranked with a 3" body lift, I just like the whole design of 8" rize lift, simply they just look badass

I like the fact that you don't have to have 20" wheels. Tires for 17's or 18's are sooo much cheaper than for 20's

I will be using BDS for my leveling kit as well as my suspension lift. I read good things about BDS.

These days when you spend the money on lift and wheels is it generally ok to still use your truck daily? Or is this stuff known to break pretty quick?
