Hello, I just bought a 2009 f150 scab 4.6 3v, with 235/70/17's and the ugly stock rims ( thinking about painting them black) there are a set of 265/70/17 winter tires on stock chrome rims from a 2006 f150 4x4 Will they fit my truck and are they too wide for winter tires for my truck? also on a side note can i switch the tires from one set of rims to the other?

Yes and yes.

"A lot" is two words, not one.

 

You can fit the tires and you can wear them on the older wheels...BUT you will get a TPMS error light. The '06 wheels did not become equipped with the sensors.
