New job, new town, feelin' welcomed!

Well my move from Lawrenceville, GA to Fayetteville, NC (Ft. Bragg) is complete. In L'ville I was lucky to see 1-2 09 F150's on the road a day. However here in F'ville they are everywhere. I kept a count today and reached the awesome number of 16 09's. Today while gasing up I was approached by a guy who is interested in getting a local ride together (maybe out to the Uwharrie National Forest), for 09's of course. Also I got a thumbs up from a guy driving a Dodge Ram, oddly enough he pulled in to the local Ford dealer with me (went to check out the service department). I talked to him for a moment and he was there to trade the Dodge in on a new F150...GREAT. Anyways seems as though the 09' F150 bug has bitten many around here. Also F-Series trucks seem to be the popular truck around these parts outdoing others at least 3:1. Am I in heaven?

That's great to read you are being welcomed into your new town. As for the heaven part, you'll have to wait and find out about taxation before you'll know the answer. Enjoy your new home.

North Carolina is a nice state. Just stay off of Murchison road (AKA Diry Murc) after dark.

Yeah I lived here three years ago and there was no where near the level of F-Series trucks up here at that point. You're right about the tax, WTF is tax 1, tax 2, and tax 3. Seems as though I'm paying tax on the tax . Never even heard of that. And yes "The Merc" only reason I've ever needed to travel on that road is to go to Smith Lake (decent mountain bike trails). Anyways just thought I'd share what seems to be an overwhelming love for F-series trucks up here with everyone. The "Am I in heaven" statement was a joke .
