Hi everyone new truck owner here just picked me up a brand new 09 f-150 XL. I love this truck best move i have ever made. I am looking to maybe start modding it here soon what do you guys think should be the first move to make?

Congrats and enjoy the ride. You have plenty of choices to mod an XL. You can consider the more popular mods done by owners on this board like wheels/tires upgrade and levelling, running board (or bars), window tinting, etc etc. Don't forget a radio upgrade. Plenty of choices to make your wallet suffer a bit of pain.

Lots of guys buy XLTs and replace the wheels right away. You can probably find a nice set of XLT rims on Craig's List or Ebay for your XL. The wheels have the biggest impact on how your truck looks.

Thanks guys i love the warm welcome.lol yeah i will get some pics up very soon. My first mod i was looking into was some FX4 wheels with like some nitto grapplers or something along that line.
