Back into a new f150 soon

Well, I just agreed to the terms of a dealer trade of a new F150 SuperCrew. I'm getting rid of a 06 Dodge Dakota. My daughter needs the extra room in the rear. Tried of feeling her legs in my back while I drive. I had an 03 F150 back in 03 SuperCab and I got rid of it to buy a Wrangler. Wrong move. Those where the days of stupid is what stupid does. Well anyway. I have been a Chrysler fan for years until I drove the new f150. All I can say is wow! This truck is awesome. I love all the safety features that are standard, and it didn't hurt that we have the x-plan here at work too. So the truck I'm getting is a 4x4 Supercrew, Royal Red with Pueblo Gold two tone, with 5.4, 3.55 limited slip, LT275/65/R18 tires, XLT convenience, Sync, Trailer Tow, Drivers Package, and Chrome Package. I will post some picks once I get it. I should be picking it up either Monday or Tuesday. Can't wait. I can't really bash my Dakota. It is what it is, and it did what it needed to do for me, it is just too small. Now I can enjoy what every one else has been for about a year.

Welcome back . I too was once a fan of the Chrysler brand. I've had 3 Jeeps in the past and almost bought a Ram. I was finalizing the deal for the Ram and a good friend asked that I at least go and test drive a new F150, well that was that took it home that night. I'm currently on my second one and lookin' at getting one for the wife. Lovin' life in the Blue Oval !

Welcome to Ford!!! I have driven Fords since 1987. Usually trade for a new one every 2 years. Thats right 11 straight Fords. Every time I will shop the big 3. This time I drove the Ford first and didn't even bother driving a bankrupt GM or a horn toting FIAT. Welcome again!

Another big plus for a Ford is that they didnt take any bailout cash.
