Ordering a 2010 Platiunum

I downloaded the order guide from blueoval. Trying to get the "internet sales" managers in the Tampa area to deal. So far, the "internet sales" guys reply by either saying I need to come down or they try to sell me on a 2009.

Any way, I have a few questions for the experts.

Chrome package is standard on a Platiunum right?

Also not sure I understand the difference between the Tow Package and the Max Tow package.

I understand the Sony audio is now standard for 2010 Platinums. But does the Platinum also get the 6-CD in-dash changer standard like the King Ranch now does for 2010?

What is the "Heavy Duty Payload package?

Thank you. Hoping to get out of my 2001 Screw and into a 2010.

Thank you, Lee

- HD not available on Crew or platinum
- I thought all sonys had 6 disc
- Max tow gets you many things including 4th rear leaf unless your getting 20s which also has 4th leaf.

Thank you.

A more careful read of the order guide answered my questions. Now I just have to find a dealer willing to deal.

Local dealers probably balk at internet sales for someone living in the same town. Try doing it with dealers a few miles out of town. You'll probably do better that way.

Its honestly hard to get a smokin deal on a vehicle you are ordering. See if there are any 09's left or wait till the 2010's are on lots and the dealers will start to deal. If you dont want some weird combo of options it shouldn't be to terribly difficult to find something on a lot. Just my 2c...

Not really. I ordered our Flex for $500 under invoice.

Just tell them you will order at invoice and they'll probably go for it. Now, if you have a trade-in, that's something else you will have to deal with.
