Arrow New 2010 Plat Pics

Was browsing the net looking for new 2010s and stumbled across this platinum. 2010 Platinum in Red Candy Tinted (Razor Red).

Rear Window is still just that little sliding one butwith the added defrost feature. And the front headrests appear to be the exact same. The rear headrests got the change. If you are familiar with the big azz expy headrests thats what they are in the rear. Talk about ruin your rear visibility!!!

Anyway click HERE to get to the page.

Good find. Well im glad i aint got them rear head rests in mine. Talk about not being able to see sod all out the rear. I also dont like what they have done with the trailer brake controller as it's nice to have the display right next to the ajustment controls. Makes the dash look a bit cheaper in that area now. Brakes look the same from what i can see from the pic but it's hard to tell. Seat heater switch for the rear looks a litle cheap and cheerful but a good upgrade if you carry people. So really there's nothing really much different from the 09's and they look to have made some bad choices in some of the interior things they changed.

Maybe it's just me, but the Plat tailgate with that candy red paint doesn't look right. It looks way too urban.

While those headrest in the back maybe functional, they sure block the rear window. Backup cam is a must.

Maybe with this color they should re-badge it and call it the "Urban Cowboy Edition".

Oh-no what did I do, I just realized that someone will probably go out and buy those fake chrome letters and make their own Urban Cowboy badge now.

The brakes may look the same but they are all new.

Thanks OP for the pics...small changes but nothing really earth shattering. I would like to feel the new brakes though. Mine work fine - but they just don't seem to "bite"...if that makes sense - seems you have to press pretty hard. Anyway, if I had a 2010 on order, I'd probably get both the '09 rear seat headrests and trailer brake dash unit now - before they are gone...Ford must have integrated the trailer brake display in the Nav unit? And the rear head rests...well no way around it - they're just plain fugly...looks as if someone jammed a set of the front headrests back there

And while I'm trying to like it...that red just doesn't do it for me - especially with all the Plat trim...almost looks...tacky...kind of like the previous gen Mark LT - tacky chrome added everywhere....

Sometimes messing with a good thing is not the way to go

So Barritia, you must be a landscaper - carrying all that sod in the bed..you know, if you secure the load correctly, you won't have to keep looking at it through the rear window
