on my 06 fx4 after a year or so of wear the black gaurds looked bad...I would use armor all on them to get the black back and a week later they would look bad again. I dont want this to happen again to my new fx4 gaurds ...anyone have any tips or suggestions on how to keep them clean while waxing or how to perserve them....ty

 

First Tip would be don't use armor all,use a good quality dressing like Mequires Mirror glaze# 40 or better , and you should not get that chalking of your black trim.
