Yeah that grill is sharp

 

Not feelin it. Though it could just be the pic, because that one doesnt make it look all that different from a regular 09, just PTM stuff. The older style had the body kit and made it look a tad more different.

 

^alomar, I disagree, it is just like the last style with PTM stuff. the last style did not have a body kit, it just had a PTM front air dam. This one has a partially PTM front air dam too if you look at the picture. The old style had PTM step bars while this new one has step bars painted with the accent color (gray).

 

I feel the same way but it may just be the pics. I can't wait to see additional pics or in person

I have to wonder if the chin spoiler of my fx2 will work with an 09?

Does anyone know if the 09 FX4s come with the 4.6 or just the 5.4l engine?

 

I can see the FX2 will be a good seller. Sharp looking truck. Not sure if the pic is doing tricks to my eyes but it seems the FX2 is slightly lowered in the rear, levelling the truck.

 

Toms03GT, the FX2 colors as per the order guide are: Vermillion Red, Blue Flame Metallic, Red Candy Metallic, Tuxedo Black, Sterling Grey Metallic, Ingot Silver, and Oxford White.

Bossey, all the info is there as I posted the features of the FX2 from the order guide, and the other guy posted the info and pic from a brochure. I haven't seen any other pics although I haven't been looking either.

munro200, the FX4 always comes standard with the 5.4 V8, been like that since at least 2004.

 

Thanks for the info SteveVFX4, I ordered one in and didnt ask the dealer how they come with the engine. As long as the 5.4 is standard Im happy.

im gonna have to start saving my pennies

I wonder if they will do a special order FX2 regular cab with either of the 3v engines
