Dam that black looks good, I like it now after seeing your pics. You know one thing that I would try to change that I haven't seen anyone do? I would change those yellow reflectors on the backside of the side mirrors to clear if possible, I wonder how that would look, can someone photoshop that. I bet my Saleen wheels would look killa on it. SWEEEET. If possible through up some more interior shots

clear or white? Imo I think blacked out would look better with a black truck.

Ya know now that I've had a few days with the truck (and only put on 80 miles) I think I'll look into replacing those reflectors. That's about the only thing that I don't love about it. I can't get over all of the positive comments and thumbs up I get. I own two 1970 Mustangs and this truck gets every bit as much attention.

Bossey I didn't know that you own 2 Mustangs. I'm looking into maybe purchasing a 2011 Shelby GT500. Supposedly its going to have an aluminum block

I think Ford really messed up on this one, I was so excited to see what they could come up with for the new FX2 and Ive got to say I am extremely disappointed there is nothing that separates this truck from an XLT besides stickers. The interior is outstanding I just hate the exterior of the new fords the line on top f the fenders is crap they lost the chin spoiler that gave the old FX2 that sporty look and nothing about this truck makes me think sport. The 20's are nice and the truck being black definitely makes it better looking but Ford missed the mark huge on this one they had so much to build on as far as sells from the last FX2 and they could've have blown me away with the design or put something on the body that put it in another class but they didn't its an XLT with 20's and some FX2 stickers. But great score glad you could get one and extremely glad that you are happy with your new truck the black does look much better than that white one its just too plain for me. I'll be fine with just keeping my old FX2 in my opinion the best truck Ford has ever made outside of the Lightning

Wow an aluminum block will take a couple hundred pounds off the nose of that car. It should handle great. Yeah I have a 1970 Boss 302 and a 70 convertible for my wife. Also I'm finishing up a 65 VW microbus just for a laugh. There is another thread about those mirror reflectors and I'm going to get a set of the replacements and try painting them argent to match the wheels and running boards. If I don't like it I can always go back to black.

Hey Screwbuilder, this is not directed at you personally but if there is some program at work for complaints could you mention one for me? The door handles on my new truck are mismatched. One is painted gloss black and the other is flat. I don't know if you have seen the pics I posted but if you look close on the passenger side you can see it. I'm a retired auto worker and it's silly stuff like this that gives us a bad name. Again nothing personal but WOW.

Hey Bossey, truck looks great, mine should be here in another week. If you find a good replacement for the yellow reflector let me know or better yet send a picture. I agree it stands out to much. Thanks.

Still looking for some pictures of the 2010 FX2 extended cab. If someone comes across one take a picture. There must be one out there by now.
