The 2010 F-150 brochure at the dealer says it will be available in the Fall. Someone posted a scan of the FX2 page from that brochure somewhere on this site. Let me see if I can get a link.

A Ford rep told me that 2010 FX2s will not be built until the first week of October and only at the Dearborn plant.

 

I was told the fx2 was only built at the kansas city plant?

 

I wish they would just build them somewhere. I've had my order in for a month and it's killing me waiting for it.

 

Ford rep is wrong. All FX2's will be built in Kansas City.

No. I have not seen any of the FX2 parts yet. And they don't give us anything as far as products go, sorry.

 

Uh, riddle me this screwbuilder, how is it a boy in San Antonio is driving one? I talked with him yesterday about the truck and sat in it. Have there been some mules let out to consumers? His was grey if that matters.

 

No idea. I am near a part that goes only in the FX2 and have not seen any stock for it. Was told the other day it might be job 2 before any are built.

Screwbuilder what does Job 2 mean?

 

The trucks built after the mid model year changes are implemented. Job 1 trucks are usually built from around July or August on and Job 2 trucks are from around Dec. or Jan. and run until the end of the model year.

 

Oh no!! I might have to wait until the new year for my FX2. I sold my 2003 last month and I'm dying driving the wifes minivan.
