Its kind of retarded. They make it near impossible to put in an aftermarket nav and than you can't order one from ford.

Hey guys, new member here. I've got an FX2 on order as we speak. Will probably be here by the end of the month but will wait to take delivery of it until the first week or two of March (wait to see what the incentives will do for Truck Month). Here's the link to the window sticker.

As far as details about myself, this will be my 5th F150. I had a '94 XL r/c 300 I-6, '96 XL r/c 5.0L, '98 XLT r/c 4.6L, and an '03 XLT Screw 5.4L (all 2wd). Because of my father, I've grown up around Ford's and, at one time, sold them. Even tho I'm no longer in the biz, I still keep up on all the details of Ford trucks and Super Duty's (one of the many jobs I held was Inventory Control; I ordered vehicles from the factory and did dealer trades). I will try my best to help out on the forum -- I am usually a pretty objective guy but in the end, people are gonna do what people WANT to do! And I'm fine with that...

First question: Isn't there someone on here named "Screw Builder", or something like that, that can tell me when my truck will be built and when it has been shipped? Just curious...

he can't tell you either. Basicly if you give him a vin he can tell you if it came down the line.

I found him and hit him up with my VIN. We'll see what he says. Anxious about this thing getting here!

Hey Preluder 5, nice truck. Just ordered the same about two weeks ago. I've been checking out those headlights since the day I signed the order. How do you like them. Are they brighter, do you have to adjust them, do they work same as the factory ones. I really like putting my lights on auto and never worrying about turnung them on or off. I've also heard issues about heat and melting, any concerns?
Thanks

When the extender is in the open position, the locking tabs should be in the higher position and that rod in the center goes down into a hole in the tailgate. The writing on the label will also be right side up when the extender is open. Here's what it should look like...
