Show quality tail lights for my weekend project

Hey guys, so I picked up a set of tail lights on ebay for 80.00 plus shipping and they came in yesterday. So this weekend im gonna brake out the sprayer and do a proper PTM and tint job on these lights. No spray can junk nothing but PPG. Im gonna lay base coat, then smoke followed by 2 coats of clear on top. Then these lights will need to cure under the lamps for a bit then Sunday I will wetsand and polish. I will post some pics as soon as possible.

Hey guys a little update my compressor went out on Sunday before I could lay down the clear, so I had to order some parts to get it up and running again, the parts are here so I'm going to replace them now and shoot the clear on hopefully I will have pic's up tonight.

Yeah I know I have ran into big problems, so sorry to all you guys that are waiting on this write up, but the project is still on im just working out bugs with my compressor which failed, then when repaired I shot the clear only to see snow flakes in the lightd which ment oil was mixing with the clear. This problem has yet to be solved cant find the leak which is allowing oil to mix with the air. So I will get this done I'm just trying to get it done right ie the show quality part of my title.

It's all good lol alittle tough love never hurt any buddy, yeah I'm in the process of cleaning the line's so hopefully when I shot the test panel today no "snowflakes" will apear in the panel which would mean no more oil please keep your fingers crossed.
