Paint Protection from dealer?

Anyone have any pro's\con's, experience, advice on the paint protection offered by the dealer?
$399.00 for the one time application complete with warranty by a company called Sym-Tech.
Is it worth it?

My dealer offers auto armor, I had it done on my 06 escape and my 09 f-150. Its worth it since I'm near the ocean and salt water, etc.

I don't know about the company you listed.

Save your money, if you wash and wax your truck often you will be fine. No need to spend 400 dollars on paint protection. Just follow these basic steps and you will be very happy.

1. Wash your truck at a min. once a week, making sure to wash door jams and under your truck.

2. This will vary depending on weather and your washing conditions but a good wax every 2-4 months will do.

Me living in Michigan and with the salt during the winter, I run my truck up to the coin wash and spray it down every night before getting home, just so the salt doesnt sit on there, $1.75 is real cheap protection.

Remember Zeibart? They would punch holes all in your body panels and spray their gunk in there.

OP, don't waste your money - almost 100% profit for the dealer. It won't last a onth and you're gonna have to wax it anyway. Take the $400 and buy yourself a mod. Tint the windows, spray in bed liner, etc.
