Two Raptors in, Two gone

I visited my local Stealership today because they had two black Raptors come in (I did a search on the Ford site). Well they had them in the basement because they are sold and going over seas. But I got an up close with them and they sure are nice and I would definitely own one if I could

Both are black with graphics (doesn't look too bad on black) and Navi for a sticker of around 46k and that's probably what they sold for according to my sales guy.

If they made them in a CrewCab model, I'd be all over that!

I was riding next to one on the freeway yesterday, orange one. It looks awesome on the road! I was able to get in one at the offroad expo and they are awesome on the inside as well.

The RAPTORS are really cool and I wanted one bad. After some research I discovered they have only 1,000 pounds of load carring capicity including passengers and cargo. A Leer shell, camping gear, two passengers and my jet ski and mountain bike attached to the hitch and I would have been overloaded for the truck according to FORD. Something to think about.

I saw a black one a mile or two from my house. Neat. I would have fun in that

Saw one on the road a few weeks ago... frankly I was a little disappointed, I was expecting something more for some reason. It wasn't bad, but not something I would care to have... Admittedly, I might change my mind if/when I see a Screw version of it...

If I lived in the desert of the SW, sure would love to have one. But I don't.

The Raptor does have a terrific stance and I'm sure the owners love driving the truck.
