Intakes and tunes for 2009/2010 F150s
What intake and tuners can anyone recommend for the 09/10 F150? I am interested in adding a cold air intake, but not sure which one to use. I do not want to do the exhaust as I like the current sound and I do not want the CAI to change the sound either. I have a C&L on my 06 Mustang GT and it works great, but I do not think they offer one for the trucks. I have had CAI's in the past that create a noticeable sucking sound and I definitely do not want that.
Thoughts on which CAI and tuner to use? Thanks.

I'm holding out for the Edge Evo to release the 09 tuner, gives you the option of getting custom tunes in the future and i like the dashmount. I had a K&N on my old Silverado and there was definatly a sucking noise when I tramped on it, I kinda like it though. Let us know if you do pick up some mods and what you thing of them.

Search in the 04-08 forum. There is a whole lotta change in the engines from that model to the new ones as far as tuners and intakes. Anyone that make a tuner or intake for the 04-08 trucks will have one for the 09+ trucks soon if they haven't released them already. You'll find a lot of feedback on the brands there and the service to expect.
My thoughts:
Intakes- You will find a lot of folks like the S&B and the volant b/c of the cold air boxes and the option of the dry filters.
Tuners- The edge is nice, I too like the display and having it there all the time in case you want to change settings. The die hard HP guys will tell you the edge is kind of conservative and that some of the other handhelds with a custom tune from Troyer or VMP will give you more power.
Whatever tuner you get make sure it is updatable and find out the cost to update it (if any) No one to my knowledge has one that will let you adjust the new 6 speed transmission. Getting one that is updatable will allow you to firm up the shifts once the aftermarket figures out the transmissions tuning.
