Picked up my new 09 Friday!

I consider myself lucky as mine is a company vehicle. May not be the color I want or all the options I want but the price is certainly right!

Friday AM I had new tires, struts, shocks and an alignment done on my 118k 06. After it was done I really had to question whether I wanted a new one! Anyway a colleague was on his way to pick it up so I scrubbed it the best I could, filled it up and said good bye. 118k trouble free miles!

Company delivered mine on a flatbed to a facility we have in the Chicago area. Picked it up as darkness was falling Friday so I couldn't get a real read on the Pueblo Gold. The interior however is such an upgrade I couldn't believe it, and the seats are almost comfy! 118k in 30 months on the old one and I found those seats just short of terrible.

Car wash Saturday morning and most the afternoon playing with all the new toys! Old console doesn't fit so now to look for a new one.

Thanks heavens someone decided beige interior doesn't need beige carpeting! I love the dark brown!

I've made one mod already, see if you can find it.

Now to try the SYNC!

Thumbs up Pueblo Gold = 2 thumbs up!

You'll come to love that color, as it is by far the easiest color to keep clean ever. I would have gotten my Plat in that color if it was available. Love it.

Oh, and just be glad you didn't get stuck with an Amber Gold 2009. Now THAT would have been a horror story. At some point, SOMEONE will end up buying those Amber Gold's randomly scattered still on dealer lots throughout the country. I'm hoping I never see one on the road, but ya never know...

You missed out, Comet Flash. I saw an '09 Amber Gold pulling a big red trailer through Milford, PA today.

Nice truck. Enjoy it. Comfort and cabin quietness over my old 06 were the first things I noticed when I drove my new 09 this weekend.

Couldn't agree more!!! Drove from Chicago to St Louis today and the truck averaged 20.5 mpg!! Is this really a truck!!

BTW - The SYNC is so unbelieveable!!!

This is my 2nd vehicle with SYNC. It's great. If you haven't done so already, sign up over at syncmyride.com and sign up the the vehicle health report (VHR). Then run a VHR through your phone. Just make sure your vehicle is running when you run the VHR or you'll get a report back that says your truck isn't doing very well.
