I'm 40 years old...

I guess adding a train horn would be pretty immature for my age, right?

I'm 26 and think train horns are retarded. Your ride, your money, do what you want to man.

I'm not due to have a midlife crisis for another 10 years or so. It's usually after 50, isn't it?

I started my midlife crisis when I was around 10 years old, I had to many sisters. I'm 58 now, I stay in a crisis mode all the time. Had so many hobbies I can't recall and each one cost me big $. My last crisis just happened two days ago. After spending $97.00 for service (oil, filter, tire rotation and balance) I decided to take a new 2010 f-150 for a test drive. Just something to do while I waited. Forgot to bring my reading glasses with me and couldn't even read the paper. After paying my bill for the service, I drove home with a new 2010 f-150 Lariat. The crisis happened when I pulled into the driveway. Some women just don't understand a crisis when they see it.

Been there, done that, and got more than one t-shirt!

Sometimes it's easier to ask for forgiveness than it is permission.

OP: Go for it.....

Im thinking of getting one of these. Getting so tired of people at lights not pulling away from lights even when i honk the horn for 10 secs. That will def get them moving or make them crap their pants. Either will do.

I know exactly what you mean. I'd love to have one, just for situations like that and more. Trouble is, There are so many buttons and things on the dash/instrument cluster already I can see myself hitting that horn by mistake and crap my own pants. I live fairly close to railroad tracts and I swear the horns get louder every year. I mean, seriously are they trying to warn other trains 250 miles away! It would probably blow out all my windows, scare my truck to a dead stop. Op, yeah go for it. I know it would get my attention real quick when I get stupid.

Never too old for train horns. But if you do it, spend the money to get a decent setup instead buying budget pieces and ending up replacing them all one-by-one. Trust me I know.

I just redid my horn system! I say heck yea, go for it! I now have a Grover 1510 fire engine horn and a Grover 78 peterbuilt big rig horn! I can have both or either one individually. I love it because people get the hell out of the way and know when you honk at them for their crappy driving. The stock horn just doesn't work in today's crappy driving world!

if your going to check out horns check out this guys site...
http://www.mypushcart.biz/
He has a Kleinn system(also gives you a compressor under your truck if you ever need it) that has a 100% duty cycle compressor for 299 and then you add the horns to it for about $200...im tempted to do this but i have dropped way to much on my truck that i swore i wouldnt mod when i bought it

Once a man twice a child but remember you only live once and it's only for a very short period of time; when you die, you're not taking anything with you. Enjoy your life at its' fullest and go blow up some ear drums especially of those slow drivers who get in your way.
Most of us are well aware that women hardly admit their age and men hardly act it. So what difference does it make if you're 16 or 60, just go for it.
