automatic headlights... but I realize they are not on pretty quick and it dings at me if I forget to turn them off... the driver message center was nice also on the old truck... this truck has stuff that make up for that stuff though... plus with this truck I started with a new truck as opposed to an old one

just realized this is the 09-10 area... getting a third off off on my 08 leftover helped also

Power windows/locks. But that will get solved in a couple of months.

I'm hoping someone does a retrofit on their '09 rear window w/slider to add defrost ability from a '10 w/slider. Be interesting to see what this entails. It's the one thing I'd love to have from a '10.

Nothing from my '04 Lariat or '97 XLT. But I still miss my Captain's Chair armrests from my '98 Lariat, for sure. Other than that, let's hope Ford keeps adding to the 150. Still surprised they haven't added Upfitter Switches as an option yet. You can tow a trailer and plow snow with ease, but heaven forbid you want to easily add warning lights as well.

EDIT: Oh, and Ford? If you're listening, stop making the Upfitter Switches hot only while keys in ignition. Upfitter Switches should be hot at all times, whether the truck is running or not.

Let's see, the 06 XLT had a 4.6L, I now have the 5.4 on the 09 FX4,
What else was on the 06 vs. the 09?
3.73 non limited slip - check - FX4 has 3.73 Electronic Locking rear differential
6 CD MP3 w Sirius - check
18" BFG AT tires - Now I have Goodyears, I think the old truck had better tires
Power adjustable pedals - check
ESOF - check
Trailer tow package - check
Fog lamps - check
Chrome plated alum wheels same as Lariat - FX4 has nice wheels, too
Captains chairs - check
Center console - FX4 has flow through console
Power driver seat - check
Chrome step bar - check
4 spd auto trans - FX4 has 6 spd auto trans

Ah ha, I found the one thing that was on my 06 XLT that isn't on my 09 FX4 - a chrome exhaust tip.

Then there is the comparable list of what is on the 09 FX4 that wasn't on the 06 XLT. I'll leave that for another topic another day.

I dont know why but i have zero issue with rear windows. They are always clear as day even on the coldest morning. Can say the same for the front though. Take a couple of mins to deforst the front before i leave. Not that i really need a rear deforster anyway seeings i have reverse cam

Me too - this is a truck with large mirrors on both sides - don't think I even use the center mirror.

Grab handle for the driver. Sorely miss it from the '07.
Air filter housing. The '04-'08 made changing the air filter a piece of cake, under 20 seconds. Not so with the new trucks.

If you set your side view mirrors correctly, they do not show what is behind you.

As for rear camera, we'll see how well it works in the winter w/ snow & ice. But if it works as well as it does now, it will be helpful, but I'd still like to be able to see out of the rear window. And no matter how well you clean it of snow before pulling out for work, as soon as you start driving the snow just blows all over it again and it pretty much stays that way until you brush it off again. The snow never seems to stop blowing around between the bed full of snow and the gap between the cab & bed creating a funnel that drives snow right up and over the rear window.
