Fog Light HID's

How do the 2009 fog lights hold up to the HID's. I had 55w HID's in my dodge but the fog lens on it where glass. Any issues with the higher wattage HID's in the 09 fog lights? I already have 6000k 55w HID's in the headlights, just want to get the fogs matching again.

Im assuming that the 9005 will work for the fog light?

I have 35w in my fogs,so far no issues. I had problems with head lights but resolved them with a different kit

Yes I do know they run cooler, but the stock bulbs in the fogs are only 9140's so they are a much lower wattage bulb. Ordered a set of 9005 55w 6000k bulbs from retro-solutions last thursday and they will be here tomorrow. I will post up some pics as soon as I get can get them installed.

Here we go. I will get more pics as soon as I have time. Just snapped a quick cell pic of them. 6000k 55w heads and fogs.

Yeah it was taken with a cell phone from just a few feet away, lol. I forgot to take a pic so my dad sent me one with his phone. In real life the glare is not bad at all. He said no one has flashed him yet. Because my truck is much higher if I drive with my fog lights on I get a few people flashing me, so I normally ride with them off.

The same as me, Retro-Solutions. I have 3 sets, he has 2, and multiple friends have sets. They have all worked flawlessly. Todd has great customer service and stands behind his lifetime warranty.

i've been thinking about upgrading mine to HIDs as well, but why did you go with 9005 kit for the fogs instead of H10?

The 9005 will go right in. The H10's will not without some trimming on the light housing - if I remember, a tab on the housing has to be shaved off.
