ARE Tonneau

I have a Leer XL100 (or XQ?) top of the line on my Superduty now, and frankly, it's not worth the money and the high-falutent (sp?) and almighty "Leer" name. Their paint is... OK. The drop-down slider in front always unlatches and rattles and does not have a hasp to keep the door closed, the rear door is always out of adjustment, the screens are for looks, and the interior carpet quality on the top is junk.
So, to answer your question, I'll look at an ARE for my next lid, again... unless the Swiss is a better price.

Wanted Snuglid originally but didn't want to drive several hundred miles to nearest dealer (they are mainly a West Coast company with a few dealers sprinkled e. of the Miss.). So got the ARE LSII. Had it installed about 6 weeks ago and color matched perfectly and love it. Had installer issue with them not filling in the gap when drop-in bed liner was removed, but they added 3 rows of foam tape and fixed it.
I had a Century before this and had no issues with it either but was looking for slightly better quality as my locks/components started rusting out and not working after many many years of service which I can't complain about. But have a little more money now so upgraded. I looked at Jason and they had some decent models and would have been happy with them also. The only thing that had me worried was the latching system and cables. The Jason Rage looked awesome with the rear lip. It didn't come standard with carpeting but even added would have been cheaper than ARE.
