2010 Speaker Question

Ive noticed a weird noise coming from 1 of my speakers, it almost sounds like a small low pitched vibration bug zapper sound like the speaker maybe be blown. Just wondering if it could be somthing eles b4 i bring it to the dealer...

Pull the door panel off and take a look see. Which speaker is it?

Sounds like the voice coil may be rubbing (defective). I had this happen in my new Corvette with Bose system. It was just a bad speaker (easily replaced by the dealer or, in my case, an opportunity to upgrade).

Passenger door, its been weird. it seems like it makes noise when its cold out but during the day when its 60 here i dont hear anything. weird.

Mine started doing the same thing this morning in about 19* F weather. Any fix?

mine too, drives side. knew it was blown so i took it in and they confirmed it. they said 4 weeks for a new one that was 2 weeks ago.
