I swapped out my heads and tails for the HD/Raptor ones. On the back of the headlamps there are three different sets of part numbers with the following descriptions:

ASY 9L34-13006-A(or B)
BRITE ALM BZL ASY

ASY AL34-13006-A(or B)
HARLEY/SVT

ASY AL3J-13006-A(or B)
FX2
STERLING GREY METALLIC BZL ASY

So apparently the standard is brite aluminum, Harley/Raptor is black and the FX2 is sterling grey. I probably would have ordered the FX2 lamps to match my sterling grey FX4. I'll be curious to see what they look like.

not bad, but I think the FX2 heads and tails will be grey that would have matched your truck perfectly.

 

Yes, there is about 4 miles of the stuff on the back.

Random question, I know, but could you post a pic a little further back that shows the whole side/front quarter of your truck? I have a sterling grey FX4 too and am trying to make up my mind if I HAVE to spend the money on those. Looks great, by the way.

 

^johnyb, wait until the FX2 lights are available with sterling grey accent color, it would match your perfectly. just my opinion...

 

Any body have any clue when we can get out hands on the FX2 ones?

 

i still think ford should've used the red lense instead of the clear because it goes right to the edge. those are still a huge improvement.
