Personally I am a little aprehensive about doing any of it to my '09, and I think it is because of the shift points on the new 6spd and the rpm's under certain use conditions.
I also like the fact that the '09 came stock with at least some exhaust note that my '06 totally lacked (it had none).
I only wish Ford could make the exterior sound with the stock system sound as good as it does on my '07 Suburban.
Anyway....if I do anything this time, I will just buy the muffler and let my local shop do the bends. I really like dual exit behind the wheels bent toward the ground. That way when you get on it from take off you stir a little dust as well.

Well call me cheap but I cut off my muffler today and welded in a piece of ss pipe and welded a ss tip on for $75.00in parts.I do have access to a lift and welder though.I didn't know if it was gonna be obnoxious but I was pleasantly suprised at how good it sounds.

Zero drone in the cab? Does that mean it drones outside?
Edit: Also, just to clarify, it doesn't drone all the time, just during a certain thottle position and rpm. Example: Going down the hwy at 65mph and slightly accelerating it drones.....or slight throttle increase while going up a hill will make it drone. Not to be confused with a flowmaster 40 series drone in a mustang GT which drones all the time at almost any speed.
