Question HID Kit - Who to buy from!?!?

I'm pretty much set on a 8000k headlight/foglight kit for my 09 F150. The research I have done suggests 55w for the headlights and 35w for the fogs (has anyone tried55w fogs??). Now the big question is WHO TO BUY FROM!?!?! I want a quality kit, but with the market so saturated with everyone trying to make a buck it can be hard to narrow it down. That's where the board comes in. Suggestions based on quality, price, ease of use, overal satisfaction are appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

retro-solutions hands down.....ive tried a couple diff ones with my old 2005 mustang and they were the best quality plus you get a LIFETIME warranty if anything breaks...i have them now on my 09 fx4 and they look great...from far away its looks like a black escalade coming your way......and just my opinion but i tried the 8000k kits before and they are cool at first but they are just too blue....and the higher you go in the kelvin scale the less light output you get....when it was rainy i couldnt see too far....i went with the 6000k and its by far the best color temp....nice blue/white and bright as hell.....really looks stock

i think i only paid 160 for the dual headlights 55w.....but like i said you get a lifetime warranty so you'll never have to buy another set or bulb....plug n play so NO splicing...you can take them out in less than 5 mins if you want to go stock (which you'll never want to again).......with hids you get what you pay for.....go to mustangforums.com and do a search...you will see why most guys use them....

I've narrowed it down between the 6000K Retro Solutions and McCulloch kits. Anyone else with an opinion?

If these guys are too much then I won't recommend the ones I bought, lol. I got mine from xtralights.com but they're more expensive. I went with them because I've been using them for years on my cars and bikes and I haven't had any issues.

I went with 4300K which is pretty much OEM. I wanted my truck to look as if they came on it stock from the dealership

I have used DDM tuning for HID retrofits for all of my other vehicles, as well as a kit for my 09 F-150. The kits are good quality, come with a lifetime warranty, and are very reasonably priced. The wiring harness which came with the kit is as plug and play as it gets, and the bulbs & ballasts are very solid & reliable.

Kinda blows my mind that they sell the whole kit for only $60. How is it that Retro Solutions is $140 more even though they're both supposedly the same specs?

I have retro solutions 6k in my headlights and xeonlink in my fogs. I had nothing but major problems with xenonlink kit in my headlights. My truck and kits didnt like one another. I went through 4 kits before I ended up getting the retro solutions kit. Havent had any problems with the retro-solutions kit.
