For those of you with the BDS kit and have had it installed for awhile, what are your opinions in regards to the ride quality? I had a Fabtech 6" with an AAL on my 06' and it wasn't the greatest. I like the way the 09' feel suspension wise but i miss my lift. Thinking of pulling the trigger on one for the new truck, just looking for some input.

Thanks!

I really like your truck! The "stormtrooper" comment is perfect. You should get a patriot custom decal with that incorporated somehow. 'course I'm a star wars fan, makes sense to me.

Anyway, love the truck. perfect dimensions!

I have been driving on the BDS 6" lift kit on my 09 screw, along with 20" wheels & 35" Toyo open countries for 15K miles. I have been VERY happy with the ride quality, both with a fully loaded bed, as well as empty. the ride is smooth, and not jarring at all. the truck is stable, and doesnt have any feelings of swaying or dipping on side roads or the highway. the ride really is quite comfortable.

Now that you have had an opportunity to drive around on these tires for awhile, what are your thoughts?

Do they make much road noise?

They are very quiet on the road. There is a slight hum, but I don't notice much difference from the BFG A/T's I had on my old truck. You know you aren't running street tires, but it is very mild and manageable. As far as the snow goes, I've only had 2 limited opportunities to venture out into the snow. The tires handled just as I'd hoped, very well mannered with plenty of traction.

Truck looks unreal! I'd love to do the same lift to mine but not sure about the costs. If you dont mind me asking, how much did you pay for this kit (parts only)? and where did you purchase it? Just trying to find the best deal. thanks
