Skid Plate Package Part Numbers?

Anyone happen to have the parts numbers for the OEM Skid Plates offered in the new truck package?

I bought a truck off of the lot that didn't come with the package... and it doesn't seem that the full online collision catalog for the '09 F150's is available yet.

I found one website that showed some parts... but the only skid plate shown was the one for the transfer case.

I think the skid plates cover the t-case, cross member and tank if I'm not mistaken. Would like to get some myself.

And the gas tank skid plate is a plastic composite.

Will they bolt on to my 4X4 XLT? Are they very heavy or even worth the $$??

The engine and transfer case ones are pretty stout IMO. The fuel tank one is plastic but I'm sure works fine to protect it from the odd rock and such.

That would be great if someone with skid plates could take a picture or two. I have mixed feelings about most skid plates, they are heavy and they can actually make some off-road situations worse (stuck in the mud or crossing deep water). Skid rails (especially for the transfer case) would offer much of the benefit with less of the downside.

well the skid plate on the f150 are not the greatest they could be but in most case they will do their job and at the least a new skid plate is cheaper than a oil pan or gas tank if you hit something hard enough

Why would skid plates cause you problems in those situations? (not being smart, asking a genuine question =))

Thanks for the pic. That makes it look like galvanized steel.

Skid plates can act like an anchor in deep mud/clay and can provide more bite for moving water.
