Dude, all you have to do is to change the oil filter when the truck is warm to slightly hot.

It took me all of 5 minutes to loosen the oil filter for the first change.

I remember years ago.....my oil filter wrench broke and me driving a screw driver through the darn thing to get it to break loose.....LOL

My first is a Free one from the dealer .....

Friend has an Indi Porsche garage ... I get to use their equipment as well as get him to order the parts at Dealer cost .....

I've had to on more then one occasion use a regular waist belt to take the filter off my moms jeep. I didn't have a wrench to fit it and thats all i could think of. I actually quite prefer it over a wrench. It can get as tight as you want it too. Just takes a bit of strength.

Looks like the cap-socket for a Purolator oil filter should work.

Considering the Motorcraft filter is made by Purolator, makes sense to me.
