New 2010 FX4 finally at home

I know I need step bars of some type to help my little girls get safely in and out of the truck. I thought some stainless steel or chrome step bars on the truck would liven it up a bit, but I haven't decided on that part yet. I'm considering the Luverne stainless steel steps (480923).
I hope this isn't considered blasphemous but at some point I want to replace the center part of the grill with a billet insert, maybe even stainless steel or chrome.
I guess the Vermillion Red truck and Screaming Yellow Mustang may indicate I'm not one for subtlety but I don't want the truck to look like a carnival wagon either.
I'm not doing anything hasty because I figure what I think would look good now may not be what I think in a few months, or even a few weeks.

I have a feeling it's going to be quite a while before I can afford to buy a new snowmobile but if/when I can, the Rev-XP and the Polaris Dragon IQ 800 would be at the top of my list! My '04 sled only has 1,700 miles on it so it should last a good while longer. My (nearly) 8 year old daughter wants her own sled. I said maybe in a few years we'll look for a used one like a Polaris Indy 340 for her to drive around the yard and learn to operate it safely in a controlled environment.
I need to take my sled in for a bit of servicing so I need to get the trailer out and figure out what type of hitch bar and drop I'll need to match the truck to this trailer.

I ordered some Luverne running boards on Friday. They should be here sometime around the end of this week.
I still have not decided if I should go for a BedRug or spray in liner and if a BakFlip or Undercover/SnugLid would work best. We have a utility trailer to move stuff like soil, stone, etc so the truck bed will not be used for that type of job.
I was told the temperature needs to be at least 65F to install a BedRug for the tape to set properly. If I get a BedRug I'll either have to have someone local install it in a heated shop or wait until spring so I can do it myself once it warms up around here. The third bay in my garage is heated but the truck is way too long with the tailgate down to allow the garage door to close. I talked to a local Toys For Trucks on Saturday and they said they won't install a BedRug purchased someplace else and their cost for the BedRug including installation is about $550. Seems a bit high to me.
The BakFlip / hinged cover is a tough call. There is a lot of good information out there on each of these products and it's a real toss-up for me. I think for me it comes down to how waterproof each of these products are. We'll be using the bed like a big trunk when we're travelling and do not want anything to get wet during the trips. I can't imagine having three girls all mad at me at the same time for getting their suitcases and clothes all wet. I guess we could wrap everything in a tarp or put the suitcases in large garbage bags but if I can avoid that hassle, I will.
Given how we're going to use the truck I'm leaning towards a BedRug and Undercover / SnugLid. I've seen MickeyMorris's setup on this forum and I really like it (good job!).
