Undercover SE and Luverne polished SS running board pictures
Here are some pictures of the recently installed Lucerne polished stainless steel running boards and Undercover SE tonneau cover. The truck is a 2010 FX4.
The girls love the running boards and can now safely climb in and get out without difficulty. The only snag I experienced was an hole alignment problem with the top of the center bracket on each side. I sent an email to Luverne about the problem but it remains unresolved so far.
The Undercover looks good on the truck. It seems to be very well built and is pretty simple to remove. We did have trouble hanging it on the wall this morning as I put the wall hooks too high for my wife to reach. The single lock in the center of the cover seems to work well. The ridges and rear lip are more subtle than I was expecting and that's ok with me. It took the installers about 25 minutes to do the complete installation. I immediately sent in the form to Undercover to get the free swing case. Hopefully I'll have that within a few weeks.
I was going to install a polished stainless steel grill in the spring but right now I think the running boards give enough offset to the rest of the black trim. We'll see how it grows on us.
The last thing I want to do is get a BedRug installed but that'll have to wait until spring at least. It's way too easy to spend a bunch of money on all of this stuff! I just bought a $10 indoor/outdoor carpet remnant to put in the truck bed over the winter. It'll be fine for the time being.

This was a special promotion directly from Undercover. I don't think I would have actually purchased a SwingCase but now that I have it I do find it to be very handy. Same good quality as the tonneau cover itself.

Thanks. Although after 10 months and 12,000 miles it's not quite so shiny anymore. Wisconsin weather and two small kids can be hard on the equipment. I do miss driving my Mustang but the truck could not be working out better for us.

No problem. When I first bought the truck I was going to install a chrome grill, door handle covers, etc but eventually changed my mind. I still don't really care for the stock grill but now I'm think more of a black billet grill.
