yeah i put 510 atp driving lights in mine and they shine very far, farther than my hid headlights. i only use them when no one is around though. i believe the fog light holes on the 06-08 trucks were 4.5 or so in.s across so the 4in. 510's fit great.

yep when i had hids in my fog lights, while i had them on everything seemed brighter but i could not see as far down the road as with them off.

Both fogs have a nice useful beam pattern IMO for stock lamps. I heard PIAA quit making either the 510 or 520...?
as far as i know piaa hasn't discontinued those lights, a bunch of people use the 510's on bikes and in factory fog light holes and the 520's are one of there most popular lights.

Oh.....that's why they are called fog lights. There is low and there is too low. I did not have any forward projection.

Does not matter what lights you have, if your trailer is too heavy, hitch and ball not adjusted correctly or stabilzer bars not adjusted you will have that issue any way. I still prefer the better lighting over stock. Keep fogs off and low beams only when towing.

I had a look at dilloncawthon's post on istalling the PIAA510's in his 2006 and it looks like the foglight buckets remove exactly the same way and the factory openings are almost 4.5" on my 2010.

I will give the PIAA510 install a shot a shot over the holidays and let everyone know if the 09/10's need anything special.

Yes, I did get this done over the holidays. Got some PIAA510 Fogs of eBay for cheap.

The instructions that dilloncawthon has posted for modifying the foglight buckets works the same for the 09/10's. I hooked right into the factory harness since it is set up with a relay and a fuse for the switch. I havent had any troubles since doing this.
