dealer discounts/incentives on 2010

You must remember that the FX2 is based on the XLT model. So technically it's an XLT with an add-on package (FX2 Package). I live in texas and have the texas-oklahoma package too. so that's why it qualified for this excellent rebate. So I can't wait for the 26th as I already bought on ebay projector headlights and HID for the low beam and fog lights. I also have a 2" leveling kit. So can't wait for this bad boy. Will post pics as soon as I get it and do the mods.

This is the deal I just got.......picking the truck up on the 21st.
4x2 SCrew Lariat
MSRP - $40,880.00
Xplan Proce - $37837.59
$4000 Incentives - $33,837.59
$7042.41 off of MSRP.
And.......they drove 220 miles to get the truck that I wanted without adding any charges. I am sure I am paying for it......just not immediately obvious what the charge is.

My wife and I picked up a 2010 FX4 lux supercrew MSRP was 52k CAD and we were able to get it for 42k CAD. At the time there was a 5k incentive and because my Boss' friend is helping out the Manager at the dealership he was able to work some voodoo sales magic and get an extra 5k of incentives. So basically we got a new truck for what the 09's were going for.
We ended up adding the protection plan and some other stuff, so they did get a little extra business out of the deal.
Perhaps not a common situation but I think there is a bit of flex on the price.
We also financed it through our bank home line of credit style so we got a pretty sweet interest rate. 2.something vs ford's 9%.
