I'm sure some people don't have problems with their dodge vehicles but i know many more people who have had problems. Its also not just a case of breaking down. They don't drive well, They are noisy, They are uncomfortable, They rattle and creek like they are 30 years old but are infact a year old and so on. Lets not even get on about the safety ratings, I see a advert the other day saying they were the safest half ton on the market. They must have pulled that from their ****. But like i said before. There are far many more old fords on the road than dodge. Thats saying something right there.

I wouldnt say they arnt worked hard. Most are old beaters that aint got a flat panel on them and rust on every corner but they are still running. I see a few very nice one i wouldnt even consider to drive as they are so clean but figures are figures. Why wouldnt Dodge owners do the same thing.

how do I say this nicely...
screw your link.
there are only 2 sources an automaker can quote from for crash stats. NHSTA and IIHS.
This is where Dodge pulled the data from.
The question was asked "how". The answer is, according to standardized testing, Dodge came out highest.
They can't just make it up and put it in an ad. Why? Because when caught (and apparently no one misses a trick in auto ads) they would be paying a bigazz fine to the gov't for misleading/false advertising.
Now its very nice and all that you like Ford and dislike Dodge, but please take your head out of your butt. "link please" what a joke.

the original question was based on ads for half-ton trucks.
typically, heavy duty trucks dont include crash worthiness in their ads.

Hahahah! I clicked on that link, and almost died. I forgot how unbelievably ugly that dodge pickup for 2009 is. Holy crap, what a joke. That thing might even look worse than the tundra. Man... so ugly... no wonder chyrsler is in a world of hurt, even their pickup trucks are looking campy and sad.
Got to wonder if those fog lights are any good though, the ones on the '09 F-150 absolutely suck. Completely useless. The fog lights on my 2004 F-150 were super-awesome! It's the only thing my '04 had over my '09 that I can think of. Way, way, way better on the 2004. Illuminated like you wouldn't believe! The ones on my '09... boy, you can barely tell they are even on at all. Extremely dissapointing.

An ad for the 1500 and then at the end they say that its the heavy duty truck of the year.
The reality is, Chrysler and their ad agency really dont have much to talk about so they are trying to spin it the best they can.
Trying to make a silk purse from a sow's ear.

Overall, the Ford brand was up 2 percent, while Lincoln was down 20.1 percent and Mercury fell 9.7 percent. Ford’s Volvo subsidiary reported sales of 4,631 units — an increase of 5.2 percent.
