2010 Ram really truck of the year?

Hahahah! I clicked on that link, and almost died. I forgot how unbelievably ugly that dodge pickup for 2009 is. Holy crap, what a joke. That thing might even look worse than the tundra. Man... so ugly... no wonder chyrsler is in a world of hurt, even their pickup trucks are looking campy and sad.
Got to wonder if those fog lights are any good though, the ones on the '09 F-150 absolutely suck. Completely useless. The fog lights on my 2004 F-150 were super-awesome! It's the only thing my '04 had over my '09 that I can think of. Way, way, way better on the 2004. Illuminated like you wouldn't believe! The ones on my '09... boy, you can barely tell they are even on at all. Extremely dissapointing.

You should start posting on pickuptrucks.com People there seem to think the bass mouthed Ram is the best looking of all of the trucks. I'm sure they will enjoy your comments.

I honestly hope Chrysler turns around and becomes successful, same with GM...its our heritage to be honest with you. for companies that were bred here in the USA...employed millions of americans for 20+ years...and to now take a huge hit in the very same industry they help built many years ago...is truely sad.
I honestly think thats the downfall of our country...most americans are so damn quick to eat their own, they fail to look at the bigger picture. not saying it isnt GM's or Chryslers fault, as i am sure the design teams or CEO's were too busy OFO on their yachts instead of trying to come up with the next big thing...most could care less where the company went considering they had enough money to roll around in for generations...nobody is probably taking pride in their work.
I just dont think the government should have bailed these guys out...yes i realize they employ thousands of americans...but who are we fooling? they are out sourcing most of their parts and build teams....i would have said "we will only finance state side manufacturing plants..." all others that are being out sourced...shut em down.
its funny, you will see most of the CEO's sporting BMW's, Rolls, Benz, Ferarris, Maybachs, Lambos...i guess it doesnt click in their damn heads that maybe they should out produce the cars they are fondling on a day to day basis. Hell Ford came up with the Ford GT...kudos to them for doing so...and what does GM do? yet another Z06...with rental car interior...F'n shame. shame on ford for discontinuing the GT...then again that was probably smart on their part..or else it would have probably ended up a rental car like the Vette. Need to take pride...hell if i was a CEO, i would be proud to roll out in a Focus...Focus RS that is LOL
SVT did really good with the Raptor...yes it doesnt look "bad ***" but they targeted everybody...you can use such truck in any environment...not like the lightning...where it was more like a sports car. Raptor will hit well...more so than the lightning Jmho.

I hope they stick around too. Solid competition that will only drive Ford to make an even better product.

I take offense at the z06 comment earlier. Is it a perfect interior? Heck no, but compare at 60-70k against a 120k dollar porsche on the track where the car was designed to run.
Haven't done it? I have.
The z06 is INSANELY fast and, with a good driver, will demolish any similarly priced vehicle. The engine, suspension and other bits/pieces are second to none. The seats are comfortable for the street and the interior works technically. There are no squeaks, creeks, or blind spots even if it is a bit plastic looking. The plastic itself doesn't fall off (as it did in both GM and ford vehicles back in the 80s and 90s) and the buttons all work and are easily in reach.
Heck, even the HUD works extremely well presenting information without overloading the user. If you don't like that, the gauges are VERY easy to see.
Does it have the option for 5.5k dollar matched color leather like porsche? No, nor does it have a 15k dollar full leather wrapped interior option. GM (and ford for that matter) cannot demand that fee on their normal range of cars.
So back to the ford side of the bargain. The Ford GT is beautiful but "challenged" vehicle. It doesn't work on the street well, both in the technical term and in terms of size. On the track the seats are only mostly supportive, the interior is nice looking but not so functional and the z06 will beat it at many tracks.
That being said the power is incredible and the noise is awe inspiring. It meets a target segment and is priced vastly higher than the z06, so it SHOULD have a nicer interior.
BTW, the mustang interior, up until the recent change, is what I would rate as below rental car. Worst interior I have ever have the experience to use, as a "nice" rental car. That being said there are plenty of nice things about the car and if it could ride as nice, or drive as fast as the vette or z06 it would be awesome. Then again it doesn't demand that price either.

I see the truck advert again on tv and took a closer look. They sure are making it look like it's the new 1500 Ram that won it.

have you ever drove one. please dont comment on something unless you've drove one.
And from your responce you havent.
My dad's got a 05 powerwagon and a 96 Ex cab dually 5.9L Cummins that will rip the frame from under your Fx4 and its got over 400k miles, id like to see your f150 last that long
I love the brand bashing on this site, when most of yall have never crossed over the other side. Im not paticular to any brand, if it gets the job done and i like it then its a good truck for me.
please get over yourself and the imature behavior.
If you want to bash something bash Toyota we all know what kinda POS they are.

Well I drove and owned one, and it was indeed a huge piece of crap and so was dealing with the company who built it. So maybe you are the one who indeed needs a reality check. Plus don't cry over a ford site bashing dodge DUH!! I traded that pos off with only 11,000 miles for my f-150.
