305-55-20s (33x12.5) on OEMS PICS

Here are the pics from the 305-55-20s i put on my stock 20s. They look really really good. But also check out the rub. No rub on control arms or ball joints, but the rub is on the sway bars.

Finally got the stock OEM 20s delivered and turned out alright. These OEM 20s are from an 07. I was a little worried there was going to be far too much rub to run these 12.5s with stock rims but the only rub i see is just before full lock... but they do not rub is the truck is rolling slowly; Just when you are accelerating at full lock.

I do have a 1/4" set of spacers that I will try eventually, but its really not bad enough of a rub to be concerned about IMO. I will get them on one day when I have nothing to do and let you guys know now it goes.

Take a look at the pics...

>>>Oh ya, Wife just surprised me with the cap for Christmas last nigh too. Looks great.

Merry Christmas everyone... and Happy holidays too.

Looks pretty good. I figured the 305's would look big on the stockers, but they look good...Probably rides better without those heavy wheels.

leveled out you can run up to 35's with OEM wheels. 33's with aftermarket if they have low Backspacing.

Looks good...but that angle looks a little out of whack on the UCA...How much are you lifted up front?

maybe remove a little metal on the swaybar with a grinder and then touchup paint?

Is it just rubbing on smooth asphalt? If so, check it out after you have hit some rougher patches of road. I would be careful either way. As far as grinding the swaybar, be careful of your warranty. Ford can have issues when you have issues as well. Any case, the truck looks great. Good luck.

X2 - they look great on both lifted and lowered trucks. Wish I could find a way to convert my truck to 6 lug so I could run those wheels.

i have 305 55 20 trail grapplers on stock 20s and rub the exact same in the exact same place. Only when accelerating at full lock. Its not something to be concerned about, but man i hate when it happens.

Do you have a leveling kit, or truly "Stock"?

I am running a AS 2.5" level up front and a procomp AAL in the rear. I didnt think they looked too out of the ordinary for a leveling kit.

The height inst stock...

Smokey. The ride is a little less clunky, but not much more. The tires themself are heavy, over twice the weight of the rims. But they do drive better now that they are tucked more than the KMCs.

They look great on the stock 20's...those are the same style 20" I added to my '05 Lariat 4x4 (right before I sold it of course). Like the cap too...that's one good (and rugged) looking rig you got there What's that white stuff all over the ground...you spill a bunch of salt or something

I'm bummed, it's going to be all the way down to 70 deg. here today
