tool box for 09-10 Supercrew???

Just bought a 2010 Supercrew after some drunk wrecked the '04. I went to Tractor Supply to get a toolbox like the one that was crushed but it wouldn't fit the bed. The wheel wells were too far forward to fit the box.. Anyone know of any toolboxes that have been designed with recessed corners to avoid the clearance problem I had??.. I prefer the low-profile if possible.

Got a low profile from Lowe's. Kobalt brand. I had it on my 06', pulled it off and threw it on the 09' when I bought the truck. Nice box, i have had no issues with the box. Fit's nice and tight, just like in the 06'.

Hope that helps.

Is the bed on your supercrew a 5.5 or 6.5 foot?

I'm disappointed that a box that fit your '04 won't fit your 2010. I have an '07 with 6.5' bed and am about to trade for a 2010, and was hoping to move my box over. I have a UWS Black Series, model TBSD-69-LP-BLK. This is a low-profile box, but is deep almost to the bottom of the bed (a couple of stacks of 2x4's can still fit under), and the box is also as wide as the bed (means the bed rails have to be drilled, as there's no room for J-hooks).

UWS has a broad selection, including boxes that are angled to notch over the fender wells (like the TBSD-69-T100-LP and the TBSND-69-LBTA). Unfortunately, they don't have sizes listed for the 09-10 trucks on their web site yet. However, the web site does provide detailed dimensions for all their products:

Good luck!

I got my box from Northern Tool. Pretty good price and I think it looks great.

Good deal guys. i appreciate everyone's input. I guess I just gave up too quick when the DeeZee brand "tractor supply" box wouldn't fit. I'll look into Kobalt and UCW. And Tford, It's a 5.5 box. I think since Ford put some length into the body of the truck, but not into the distance between front and rear wheels (whatever the technical term is) it moved the wheel wells forward in the box causing me issues..

Dude that truck is sweet I love the rims/tires what brand and where did u get them. I have a white 09 just like that but 2x2 and everyone at work calls it a manager truck cause they all get white f150. But I like the white with black rims and the black tool box really sets it off

Besides the Kobalt low profile box, does anyone know if the Husky (homedepot) low profile will fit as well?

Got a Weatherguard on my 5.5 bed. Sits a little high (blocks the lower 1/3+ of the rear window), but it's a great box.

Amen to that. Weatherguard makes the best toolboxes, but they are not cheap. I wanted a black one, so I went with the black steel box. It weighs about 170 lbs empty, but it's smooth and all the aluminum ones have diamond plate.
